Test Drive your own Test Framework

Thursday 18th February 6:30pm at The Manchester Digital Laboratory (MadLab)

Many claim to follow TDD principles. Some do it well, some just do as they're told and follow steps by rote. The purpose of this session is to look at the TDD process under a spotlight and rediscover what's important within it and what isn't. We're going to look at writing our own unit testing framework from scratch, whilst test driving it.

This month's session is an interactive one, but don't worry if you don't have a laptop of your own as there will be opportunities to pair-up with other members.

About the speaker

Mark Kirschstein is a Manchester-based developer and has been bumbling his way through XP Principles (including TDD) for around 7 years. He tweets about curry from @markkirschstein

The location

The Manchester Digital Laboratory (MadLab) 36-40 Edge Street, Manchester, M4 1HN.
