Lightning Talks

Thursday 20th February 6:30pm at Colony, One Silk Street

This month we’re doing lightning talks! That means you, our faithful members have an opportunity to give a short talk, somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes (note: they can be way shorter) on a Ruby-related subject of your choosing. So far we have:

  • Ditching Devise: A Quick Introduction to the New Rails Authentication Generator in Rails 8 by Darren Jones
  • Documenting Your Business Logic With Ruby Code by Rahoul Baruah
  • Fake it While You Make it by Rob Whittaker
  • 10 Cool Things You Might Not Know About Rails i18n by Tekin Suleyman
  • Stop paginating over data! OMG stop it just stop omg no pagination thx none by Will Jessop

We still have room for a couple more so get in touch if you'd like to share a short talk with the group.
