NWRUG

North West Ruby User Group

Introduction To CoffeeScript

Thursday 16th June 6:30pm at The Manchester Digital Laboratory (MadLab)

This month we will be taking a glimpse into CoffeeScript, a little language that compiles into JavaScript. Recently announced as a default in Rails 3.1, we will look at general syntax and usage as well as more complex features such as function binding, splats, array comprehension and destructuring assignments.

On The Beach have kindly offered to sponsor the group this month, so free food will be provided after the talk.
