NWRUG

North West Ruby User Group

10th Anniversary Pub Quiz

Thursday 15th September 6:30pm at 57 Thomas Street

It feels like only yesterday that the first Ruby on Rails Mini Conference was held at MDDA in Manchester and the North West Ruby User Group was born. Well it wasn’t yesterday. Oh no. It was TEN WHOLE YEARS AGO! My my how time flies… Since then, NWRUG has served as the central hub for the North West Ruby community, helping it thrive and grow, aiding people find work, and companies find people, bringing Rubyists of all shapes and sizes together under a common interest.

To mark a decade of Ruby in the North West, NWRUG is holding a special one-time event: The North West Ruby Group 10 year Anniversary Pub Quiz. We’ll be taking over upstairs at the 57 Thomas Street where teams will compete to prove their Ruby schooling, Rails mastery and general knowledge. And of course there will be prizes on the night, kindly donated by our many supporters and sponsors.

Places strictly limited - register now

We are limited by space at 57 Thomas Street so this event is going to be strictly ticketed. If you would like to attend, head over to the Eventbrite page and book yourself a spot. We'll be randomly allocating everyone into teams on the night so come one and all.
