What's Ruby Fo(u)r?

Thursday 18th June 6:30pm at Colony, One Silk Street

This month, Murray Steele, fresh off sold out shows at Haggis Ruby and LRUG (which he organises), will share his critically acclaimed talk "What's Ruby Fo(u)r?"

Ruby 4.0.0 came out on Christmas Day 2025 and a new major version is something worth celebrating. In this talk we’ll explore what previous major versions of Ruby contained before diving in to see what we’ve got in Ruby 4. We’ll wrap up by ruminating on what ruby is actually for.

  • 8:00pm — We retire to The Crown & Kettle for refreshments and further Ruby chat
